Though tourist-friendly, Dubai is still a strict Islamic Emirate. So, dress conservatively, especially while visiting religious places.

Owing to the daytime heat, it is advised that you wear loose-fitting, cotton clothes that are light and airy. This will help combat the heat.


Shorts in public are a big no-no. Both men and women are expected to wear clothes that go below the knees, length-wise.
